2.000 kg/h Finishing Line

Soaptec has prepared its new video. This is a complete Toilet Finishing Line. It is the second line made by Soaptec Srl for this company located in Lagos (Nigeria) and it produces, like the other one, 2.000 kg/h. Nowadays, Soaptec is preparing the start-up of a third 2.500 kg/h line in the factory.

The first machine is a Mixer used to optimize the addition of other products as colour and perfume in the white soap noodles. The mixer has 400 kg capacity and do the mixing for about 16 minutes ( it takes around 20 minutes to complete a working cycle). Once the mixing is done, the bottom doors opened and the content falls into the hopper of the Worm Feeder.

This machine is composed of two screws that mix again the soap and improves its refining degree until the noodles could be dealt for the Three Roll Mill. This machine will make the product become uniform and homogenized, it will completely eliminate the hard particles (old soap or bad crushed) and will increase its solubility, its foaming and its firmness.

An elevator conveyor transports the soap flakes from the Three Roll Mill to the Duplex Vacuum Plodder hopper. The plodder in this case, due to the huge capacity of the line (nowadays the biggest lines produce 2.500 kg/h max.) is a twin worm machine so it works with two screws per stage (four screws in total). This machines will improve more the quality of the soap, will increase its homogeneity, will completely eliminate the entrapped air inside the soap and will extrude the soap through its nose cone in form of a continuous smooth soap bar. This will be the last machine capable to improve the quality of the soap.

Soap bar arrives directly to the Cutter, an EMC-1, the fastest (it reaches the 350 cuts/min) and most performed cutter in the market nowadays. EMC-1 cuts the bar of soap at desired length. By request of the client it is also possible to install a Metal detector between the cutter and the stamper, as you will see in the video. The metal detector will remove the “contaminated” soap from the line. EMC-1 can be set in recycle mode.

That’s very interesting because can avoid the arrival of soap to the stamper. In case there was some problem or in case the plodder produces more soap than the requested by the stamper, the cutter will cut small soap bars so they couldn’t reach the regulating conveyor and will fall onto the recycle conveyor that will transport them back to the Duplex Vacuum Plodder. 

MFS-6 Stamper with double discharge

The film particularly stops at the MFS-6 stamper. We already have a beautiful video about the characteristics of the MFS-6 that you can see here, but in this video we want to show you a new thing: the double discharge system. Instead of discharging stamped tablets upon one single  belts, the stamper discharges them upon two belts. In the video the line has two Flow-Packs machines. In case one of those machines broke up, the stamper discharge belt connected to it will automatically stop while the other one will continue its work, so it save the line from a loss of time and productivity. The surplus stamped soap tablets will fall onto the flashing conveyor and will be transferred to the recycle belt that will bring them back again to the Duplex Vacuum Plodder.
