Saponification + Dryer + Finishing Line new SOAPTEC VIDEO

1st March 2010

Soaptec has published a new video which is available on You Tube and in the web site. The video shows both processes of saponification and drying thus as Toilet and Laundry Finishing Line.

On the video you can see Crutchers CR-50 used for Semi boiled Saponification (also called half boiled saponification) where all raw materials, neutral fats, caustic soda, brine and water are dosed and mixed continuously until their reaction is done.
Once saponification process is done, it begins the drying process where neutralized liquid soap is sprayed into the Atomizer (AT-1050 in the video) where the combination of controlled temperature and vacuum allows water evaporation obtaining the wished soap humidity degree. Soap is then separated form steams by Double Fines Separator (FS-960 type in the video).

At this point it begins the finishing process. Noodles coming from the Dryer are transported to a feeding bin by means of a pocket elevator. They passed through a rotary valve which feeds a weighting machine that transfers soap noodles into the Amalgamator. AM 200 Amalgamator uses two open sigma blades for amalgamate, in a few minutes, more than 250 liters of soap with solid and liquid additives (like colour and perfume).
Afterwards the product falls into a Refiner. An elevator conveyor transfers the refinated product into the charging hopper of a Duplex Vacuum Plodder (DVs-250) that will extrude soap mixure in form of a long soap bar that will be engraved and cut by EMC-1 Cutter (laundry soap) or cut as a smaller long bar of soap by EMC-1 Cutter and then stamped by Multi Flash Stamper MFS-3 (for toilet production), successfully completing soap producing process.
